PROVIDING FOP. THE WIDTH OF SIDEWALKS ON
.UNIVERSITY A VENUE BETWEEN THE CIRCLE AND
MIDDLEFIELD ROAD.
The Council of the City of Palo Al to
DO ORDAIN as follo1n1:
Section 1. The width of space ~or
sidewalks on University Avenue in the Cit;v-of
Palo Alto from the Circle to Kiddlefield Road
Shall De 12 feet.
Sec. 2. All ordiTJa.noee in conflict
herewith a.re hereby repealed.
Sec. 3. This ordinance is d.eclared to
be a case ~f emergency arising out of the immediate
improvement of University Avenue, and said ordinance
is passed with the unanimous consent of all of
the councilmen present, a.nd for this purpose, all
rules for the passage of ordinances are suspended.
The City Clerk is directed to post t.nis
ordinance on the bulletin board at the city nall,
and the same shall go into effect immediately upon
its passage.
The aoove and foregoing emergency ordinance
was duly passed by unanimous consent,at a regular
meeting of the Council of tne City of Palo Alto
held on the 13th day of July, 1925, by the following
vote:
AYES: Bertsche, Bonn, Cooley, Duveneck, Easterday,
Hobart, Jordan, ~elly, Lausten, ~hoits,
Thomas, Williams, Wing.
NOES: None
ABSENT: Cathcart, Cottrell.
