PART III, CODIFIED OP.DIHA!~CE !W. ! OF THE
CITY OF PALO AL~O.
The Council., of the City of Palo .l.l to
do ordain as follows:
Section l. Section 131-a of Article XVI
entitled "FIRE COin~OL" of Part Ill of Codified
Ordinance No. 2 of the City of Palo ~lto, is
hereby a.mended to read as follows:
Section 131-a. KINDLIEG FIRE. It shall
be unlawful for any person to kindle, continue
or use in a. negligent or care.less manner any fire
. or bonfire on any public way or ~~are or anywhere
in the open air, and it shall be unlawful within
the restricted fire district of the City of Palo
Alto to kindle or burn in the open air any material
or waste matter as defined by the codified ordirances
of said city, on any premises or public street,
alley or place. •
Section 2. Any person violating the

The above and foregoing ordir.ance was
introduced on the 13th d~.y of April, 1925, an~
thereafter duly passed by th~ City Council o~_ the
City of Palo Alto on the 27th day of April, 1925,
by the following vote:
