The Council of the City of Palo Alto do ordain as follows: Section 1. It shall be unlawful for any persoo, firm, corporation, association vr organization to give any_ public dance in the City of Palo Alto without first notifying the Chief of Police or authorized deputy of the time when arid place where s&id dance is to take place, and obta.ining a permit fran hin:i to carry on and conduct said public dance.
