PROVIDING FOR PERMIT FOR PUJ3LIC DANCING.
The Council of the City of Palo Alto
do ordain as follows:
Section 1. It shall be unlawful for
any persoo, firm, corporation, association vr
organization to give any_ public dance in the
City of Palo Alto without first notifying the
Chief of Police or authorized deputy of the
time when arid place where s&id dance is to
take place, and obta.ining a permit fran hin:i
to carry on and conduct said public dance.
S~c. 2. The Chief of Police is hereby
authorized to atop and close say public dance
that is carried on in the C 1 ty .":>f Palo Al to
without such perm:tt having first been obtained.

Sec. 3. Any violation of this ordinance
shall be a m.isdemeanor and the person violati~
