City of Palo Alto are hereby amended to read
as fo-llcws:
"Section 28. The fire limits of
the City of Palo Al to are hereby established s.nd
Shall be within that portion Of said City
described as follows: All of the commercia.l
distric.:t., the light industrial district and -
the industrial district of the City of ?alo
Alto, as shown and outline.d upon that certa.ln
~ap entitled 'Use of ?roperty Zone 1.:ap of the
"i ty of-: ?s.lo Al to, Santa Clara. County, Calif<>::-nia'
as adop'ted by the council of the city of .?a.lo
Al to, California., AJlril 24, 1922, 0:1 file in
the office of the city engineer of the city of
Palo Al to, to which map reference is n e.reby
made s.s showing the lands of the city included
within the fire limits; save and excepting
froo said fire limits that portion of the
i~dustrial district lying between the south
westerly line of Alma Street :;_'ld the State
Eighway".

No buildings or structures or additions thereto,

shall be erected, built, constructed or placed

All buildings hereafter erected within th~ fire
limits of tee City of Palo Alto shall be

whfch shall be in aci..:ordance and comply with
t~e building code of the City of ?alo Alto:
Provided; however~ that in the said fire district,
frame residences may be built save and except in
Blocks 4, 5, 6, 7, 11, 12, 13, 20 and. 21 Of
