The Council .o:f' the Gity of Palo Alto do
ordain as follows:
Seotion l. It shall be unla.wtul to perk
vehioles for more than fifteen minutes on the north
easterly side of &ere on Street, for a distance
_of eighty (80) :f'eet northwesterly from the ,north-
· westerly line of Hamilton Avenue and on the north
westerly side of Hamilton Avenue for a distance
of :forty (40) :feet :from the northeasterly line
of .Enerson ~treet, between the hours of 8 A. M.
and 6 P. M. ·
Seo. 2. It shall be unlawful to park
vehicles on the side o~ a street or avenue in
front o~ any theatre.
Seo. 3. Any person violating a:ri.y of the
provi e ions of this orditl.8.noe shall be dee:ned
guilty of a miade:nee.nor, and upon conv1ct1on
thereof', shall be punishable by a fine of not
exoeeding five hundred ,,500.00) dollars, or by
imprisonment :ror not exoeed1ng one hundred· eighty
C;f80J days. or by both suoh fine and impris?nment.
'l'he (.;tty Clerk is directed to post this
ordinance on the bulletin board at the oit~ hall
in the city of Palo Alto, and all ordinances in
oonfliot herewith are hereby repealed.
The above and foreROinp. ordinance was
introduced on the 9t~ day o± June, 1924. and
thereafter passed on the 16th day of June, 1924,
