The Counoil of the City of Palo Altcf do ordain ss follows: Section l. No 'vooden building in the City of Palo Alto .shall be need or maintained or business carried on thereiri as a public 1?8.Ta~e. and no wooden building in said oity shall be used or maintained or business oarried on ther.ein as a. dyeing and cleaning works, that keeps in said bu;fldin~ in excess of :five (5) i:i:allons of hydro­ oarbOn "liquid as defined in Article IX of Pa.rt IV of Codified Ordinance .No. 2 of the City of Palo Alto; pro­ vided, however, that this section shall not apply .. to publ io gara2'es and dyein~ and cleaning works now d"oing business in ~ooden buildinRs. ::>eotion 2.
