Section 1. It is hereby declared. to be n.nla.wful for
a?l:y person, firm, company or ~orpoI·ation to s:ell gasoline from any
tallk, barrel, drum or other movable or stationery contai:::ier,·u:nlesc
there is securely fastened. in a manner plainly visible to any
person purchasing eu.oh gasoline, a metal disc not l~ss than twelve
( l.2J i:nches in G.iameter, bearinp.: in letters m:>t less than one inch
iil. height, the nan:ie of the person, firm, company or corporation ·
manufacturing,. or a metal disc of the above d:Lmensions bearing the
company's trade mark that is :filling the tank or tanks from which
pumps are drawing such gasoline: Provided, however, tr.at in case
su.oh ~soline is sold from a. pump attached to aDY such containe:i:-,

... Sec. 2. It is hereby declared to be unlawful fqr any
person, firm, oompany, or corporation to sell oil froo any tank,
barrel, d:ru.m or other movable :or stationary container, unless there.
is placed upon such receptacle from whioil. said oil is sold, a. ·label
in letters not ).ess than two inches in height, and so plac(;d a.1:3 to
be in plain view at all tiT.'leS, of purchasers o:~ oil; Su.oh label
shall contain the followin~ information:

the perso:n. firm, company or corporation manufe.cturing the oil, and

misdemean::>r, and upon c·Jnvicti on thereof, shall be punished by a

day~s, or 'by both such fine and impr:.so!ll!lent. a.ml. every day's con
