ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE C!TY OF PALO ALTO
AMENDIUG THE BUDGET THE THE FISCAL YEAR 19713 ... 79 TO
PROVIDE FutiD::3 FOR THE ARASTilADERO ROAD SAFETY

WHEREAS. pursuant to the provisions of Section 12 of Article
III of the Charter of the City of Palo Alto 1 the Council on June llJ.,
1978, did adopt a budget for fiscal year 1970-79; and
lJlillREAS, the Council desires to landscape the medians on
Arastradet'o Road, generally between Foothill .and Deer Creek Road;
NO"·l, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does
ORDAIN &s foll0ws:
SECT!ON J.. The sum of N:!.nety Thousand Dollars ($90 .. 000) is
approprtatcafo Project "19-61, "Arastradero Road -Safety Improve
ments -Hedlan Islands,11 and the unappropriated balance of the
Capital Improvement Fund is correspondingly decreased.
SECTION 2, An environmental impact assessment has been com
pleteaTor the public improvements contemplated and the Council
hereby finds that this budget amendment 'tvill not requLce further
enviroP.menta.l assessment.
SECTION 3. Thls ordinance shall become effective immediately
as pr'OV'f"Oe"'ain Section 12 of Article III of the Charte·.r and Sec
tion 2. 04.375 of the Palo Alto Munic1.pal Code.
