ORDINANCE NO. 3145
ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
.~\.MENDING THE BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1979-80 TO
PROVIDE FUNDS TO ASSIST THE CITY MAJU\GER IN
FINAJ~CING THE PURCHASE OF A HOME IN PJI.l.O ALTO
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 12 of Article
III o:f the Charter of the Cit)· of Palo Alto, the Council on June.
18, 1979, did adopt a budget for the fiscal y~ar 1979-80; and
WHEREAS, the Council desires to provide assistance to the City
Manager in fine.ncing the purchase of a home in Palo Alto;
NOW, THEREFORE. the Council of the City of Palo Alto does
ORDAIN as follows:
SECTION 1. The sum of One Hundred Seventy-five Thousand
Dollars ($175, 000) is appropriated to Capital Proj e.ct No. 71-50
"City Hanager's Housing Assistance~~ and the t'(:aeyve for Capito.l.
Projects is correspondingly decreased.
SECTION 2. The Council finds that this is not a project for
pm::poses· o.t the California Environmental Q\uiU.ty Act C\nd no environ
mental assessment is necessary.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall become efft;!ctive irunediately
as provided in Section 12 of Article III o~ th12 Cha.!:ter and Section
2.04.375 of the Palo Alto Municipal Code.
