ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 1978-80 TO
PROVIDE ADDITIOHAL FUNDS FOR 'f'HE STANFORD l~'DUSTRIJ\L
PAHK/CALIFORNIA AVENUE S. P, STATION SHUTtLE SERVICE
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 12 of Articl~ III
of the Charter of the City of Palo Alto, the Council on Junv 18, 1979,
did adopt a budget for fiscal year 1979-80; and

WHEREAS, Council desires to enconragc a reduC'tion in <HltomohilP

by transportation m:L t iga t ion payments ree~~n t 1y approved;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Cmmcil of the CJ.ty of PaJo A1to does CH-ILAIN
as follows:
_SEC!).ON_1_. The 1979-80 appropriation in the Tr:.un;port;it'ion
Division of tbe Planning and Community EnvJronment Department ~e jn
creased by Ten Thousand DollarA ($10,000) and the Reserve for Capital
Projects be correspondingly decreased.
SECTION 2. The estimated revenue f0r the Transportation Division
be increased by ·Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000) to reflec·i.. rc<'Pipt of
transportation mitigation payments.
SECTION 3. An environmental impact assessment has been made and
the Councilffnds that this project wi 11 have no significant
environmental impact.
SEC'riON 4. Thts ordinance shall become effective immediately as
provided in section J 2 of Article II I of the Charter of the City of
Palo Alto and Section 2.04.375 of the Palo Alto Municipal Code.
