ORDINANCE NO. 3137 ---
ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THF. CITY OF PALO ALTO
AlatENDlNG THE BVDGET FOH THE FISCAL YEAR HH9~80 TO
PROVIDE FUNDS FO.R THE CITY'S LITTER CLEANUP AND
LIT"rER LAW ENFORCEMENT PROJECT
\HfFREAS, pursu!l.nt to the provisions of Section 12 o.f Article III
of the Charter of the City of Palo Alto, the Council on June 18, 1979,
did adopt a budget for fiscal year 1979-80; and
'i'I'HEREAS, the City has been notified that it w:ll1 receive a grant
from the State Solid Waste Management Board for the purpose of controlling
litter Bt selected sites within the City; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to provide funds for the Litter Cleanup
