ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
Ar>1ENDING THE BUDGET FOR THE F'ISCAL YEAR 1978-79
ORIGINAL

PROVIDE FOR THE RECEIPT OF ADDITIONAL GRANT FUNDS

did adopt a budget for fisc~! year 1978-79; and
WHEREAS, the Council wishes to extend the Northern California
Pm\·?r Agency contract for a period of six months i and
I\1HEH..EAS 1 the No.:rthern Cal.i fen nia P•Y.~'er l~1gency has made available
an additional Fifteen Thou~and Dollars ($15,000) in grant funds for
the Home Weatherization Program;
NOWt THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does ORDAIN
as folJ_o\·;~:;:
SECTION 1. The 1978-79 appropri.ations in the Utilities funds for
the Home hTeath.t::r.ization subprogram of the Resource Conservation program
shall be increased by Fifteen Thousand Doll.ars ($15,000) and that
estimated revenue be correspondingly increased to reflect receipt of
additional grant funds from the Northern California Power Agency.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall become effective .immediately as
provided in Section 12 of Article III of the Charter and Section
2.04.375 of the Palo Alto Municipal Code.
