OitDINA..~CE OF THE COUHCIL OF THE C!'rY OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 1978-79 TO
PROVIDE FUHDS FOR LANDSCAPING THE PALO ALTO YACHT
HARBOR
mmREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 12 ()f Article
III of the Charter of the City of Palo Alto, the Council en June ll~ ~
1978, did adopt a budget for fiscal year 1978-79; and
WHEREAS, the City of Palo Alto desires to allocate $90,657 as
its share for landscaping the Pal.o Alto Yacht Harbor pursuant to the
contract with the County of Santa Clara; and
HHEREAS, there remai:~s a total of $68,791 available in the
Capital Improvement Project, Humber 73-31, 11 Byxbee Recreation A~:ea

NOH, THEREFORE, the Council of th~\ City of Palo Alto does ORDAIN
as follows:
SECTION l. The appropriation for CIP Project r;o. 73··31 11 Byxbee
Recr~ation Arf:a Improvements 11 shall be incr<2.nsed by Twenty-one Thou
sand Eight Hundred Sixty-six Dollars ($21,866)~ and the unappro~
priated balance of the Capital Improvement Fund is correspondingly
det:raased.
SECTION 2, This ordinance shall become ~.;ffective irmnediately
as prOVI'Oed in Section 12 of A1·ticle III of the Charter and Section
2:.04.:)75 of the Palo Alto Hunicipal Code,
