ORDINANCE NO. 3086
ORDINANCE OF THE COUUCIJ. OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING THE BUDGET F'OR THE FISCAL YEAR 1973 ... 79 TO
PROVIDE AN APPROPRIATION FOR A SELECTIVE ENFORCE-
NEff£ TRAFFIC GRANT
HHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 12 of Article
II! of the Charter of the City of Pah) Alto, the Council on June 14.,
1978, did adopt a budget for the fiscal year 1978-79; and
nHER.E.AS, the City has been notified that it will receive a
grant from the California Offt.ce of Traffic Safety for the purpose
of conducting a project entitled t1Sel.ecti.ve Enforcement Traff:i.c
Program 0 ; and
~-mER.F'..AS, the Council wishes to providt~ an appropriation for a
selective enforcement traffic grant;
NOH, THEREFORE, th~ Council of the City of Palo Alto does ORDAIN
as follovm:
SECTION 1. The 1978·-79 budget for the Selective Enforcem2nt
Traffic Program of the Police Department i.s increased by One. Hundred
Three Thousand Hine Hundred Sixty-six Dollars ($103.966) as follows:

SECTION 2, This ordinance shall bi~come effectbn:~ immediately as
proviaed in S-ection 12 of Article III of the Charter and Section
2.04.375 of the Palo Alto Municipal Code.
