The Council of the City of Palo Alto does ORDAIN as fol
lows:
SECTIOll 1. 'rhe Council finds and de.clares thut Lucy Evans gave
unselri-:slllyOf her time to the preservation nnd improvement of Dyxbee
Park and city-owned baylands so that they might be continued to be
enjoyed by ci tizcns of th:i.s community and be. preserved and maintained
as a habitat for wildlife. Lucy Evans has made a significant con
tribution to this corronunity \vhich the Council desires to memorialize
in the fashion set forth below.
SECTION 2. Section 22.08.020 of the Pdlo Alto .Municipal Code

SECTION 3. The Council hereby finds that this is not a project

SECTION 4. This ordinance shall become effective upon the
cornmei1cetne.n"t-of the thirty-first day after the day of its passage.
