ORDINANCE NO. 3093
ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
.~ENDING THE BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 1978-79 TO
PROVIDE ADDI'riONAL FUNDS FOR THE COOPgRA'I110N AGREEMENT
WITH 'I'HE SJ>..NT.'\ CLARA COUNTY HOUSING ATJTHO'RITY
WHEREl1.S, pursuant to the provisions of Se.ction 12 of Article
III of the Charter of the City of Palo Alto, the Council on
June 14, 1978, did adopt a budget for fiscal year 1978-79; and
lfflEREAS, the City of Palo Alto currently contracts with the
Santa Clara County Housing Authority for the Piggyback Program;
and
l~IEREAS, the Council of the City of Palo Alto wishes to pro
vide additional funds fo:~ the ext.ension of seven l1:':!ases in that
contract for a j)f.)r.iod of 12 wc"1ths:

Dollars ($6,8~0) is appropriated to the Housing Program of the
Planning Department and the unappropriated balance of the Special
Housing Fund is correspondLngly decreased.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall become effoctive immediately
as pro~vided .i.n Section 12 of Article III of the Charter and
Section 2.04"375 of the Palo Alto Municipal Code.
