ORDINANCE NO. 3°89
ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF-yp~ CITY OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1978-1979
TO PROVIDE ADDITIONAL FUNDS FOR THE PURCHASE AND
PROPER INSTALLATION OF FD£L TANKS IN FOOTHILLS PA..t?.K
WHEREAS, pursuant to the prov1s~ons of Section 12 of Article
III of the Charter of the City of Palo Alto, the Council on June 14,
1978, did adopt a budget for fiscal year 1978-1979; and
WHERF.AS, the City of Palo Alto wishes to provide funds for the
:t.nstallation of fuel tanks :tr. Foothills Park in a m.anner consistent
with good safety practices;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Cmmcil of the City of Palo Alto does
ORDAIN as follows:
SECTION 1. The sum. of Nine Thousr.nd Dolla~:s ( $9, 000) is appro
pr.iate-d.' .. to-Pra'j ec t 7 5-31, "Security and Fire Pro tee tion -Foothills
Park,11 and the unappropriated balance of the Capital Improvement fund
is correspondingly reduced.
SECTION 2, The Council finds that the changes set fort.h in
th:Ls ordinance have no significant environmental impact.
SECTION 3. Thi.r~ ordinance shall become effective iro:m.ediately
a.s prov!Oea in Section 12 of Article III of the Charter and Section
2.04.375 of the Palo Alto Municipal Cod~~.
