ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
Al1ENDING THE BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1974-1975
TO RE-ESTABLISH THE POSITIOH OF A PROGRAMUER (B)
l.rllEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 12 o-f Article
III of the Charter of the City of Palo Aito, the Council did on
June 25, 1974, adopt a budget for the fiscal year 1974-1975; and
HHEREAS, t:he Council, as the result of its review of the
Management Audit of the Data Processing function, wishes to
re-establish the position of a Programmer (B) in the Office of the
City Controller;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does
ORDAIN as follows:
SECTION 1. That the table of organization for the Office of
the City Controller is amended to include the position of
PROGRAMMER (B) .
SECTION 2. 1bat 1974-1975 General Fund appropriation for
salaries and benefits in the Office of the City Controller is
deemed to be sufficient for the remainder of the current fiscal
year for the position.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall become effective immediately
as providea-rn Section 12 of Article III of the Charter and
Section 2.04.375 of the Palo Alto Municipal Code.
