ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
ADDING SECTION 22,08.065 TO THE PALO ALTO MUNICIPAL
CODE .~!lEDICATION OF COGSl-lELL PLAZA EX.TENSION) TO
ENLARGE THE AREA THEREOF
The Council of the Ctty of Palo Alto does ORDAIN as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 22.08.065 is added to the Palo Alto
Municipal Co&e to read~
"22.08.065 Cogswell Plaza Extension. That certain
parcel of lanaknown as Cogswell Plaza Exteuzion as
delineated and described in Exhibit A-6.1 attached
hereto is hereby reserved for parkt f.laygroundf
recreation or conservation purposes. •
SECTION 2. All the provisions of Chapter 22.08 of the
Palo Alto M~~icipal Code shall apply to Section 22.08.065 with
the same force and effect as though said section were originally
included therein.
SECTION 3_ The Council of the City of Palo Alto finds and
declares that no significsnt adverse environmental impact will
result from passage of this ordinance"
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall become effective upon
the commencement of the thirty-first day after the day of its
passage.

COGSWELL PLAZA EXTENSION

Situate in the City of Palo Altoi County of Santa Clara,
State of California~ and further described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point on the southeasterly line of lot 43 as
shown on that certain map entitledt "Mill!s Subdivision of
Block 13 in the Town of University Park", which map was recorded
on Februe:ry 28, 1889 in Book D of Maps s at Page 71, records of
Santa Clara County, State of California; distant thereon 7.00 feet
southwesterly from the most easterly corner thereof; thence
northwesterly along a line parallel to the northeasterly line of
said lot 179.50 feet to the True Point of Beginning, said True
Point of Beginning being on the southwesterly line ~f Bryant
Street (74 feet wide); thence southeasterly along the last
mentioned southwesterly line 32.50 feet; thence southwesterly
along a line at right angles to the last mentioned line 68.00
feet; thence at right angles southeasterly 4c00 fP.et; thence
at right angles southwesterly 50.00 feet; thence at right angles
northwesterly 49 1 00 feet to a point on the southeasterly line of
that certain parcel of land known as Cogswell Plaza~ said parcel
reserved for park purposes by City of Palo Alto Ordinance Number
2252, Section G, enacted on Septe ber 13, 1965; thence north
easterly along the last mentioned southeasterly line to the True
Point of Beginning being a portion of lots 48 through 50 and
59 through 61 inclusive of said Block ·13, and containing 0.103
acre more or lesso
