' • ORIGINAL ORDINANCE NO. 2846 ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO APPROVING AND ADOPTING A PLAN FOR FIRE PROTECTION STORAGE FACILITY AT FOOTHILLS PARK (ALSO KNOWN AS PALO ALTO FOOTHILLS PARK) WHEREAS, Article VIII of the Charter of the City of Palo Alto and Section 22.08.005 of the Palo Alto Municipal Code re- quire that, before any substantial building, construction, re- construction, or development is conunenced or approved .. upon or with respect to any land held by the .City for park purposes, the Council shall first cause to be prepared, and by ordinance approve and adopt, a plan therefor; and WHEREAS, the City Council did by Ordinance No. 2252, adopted September 23, 1965, place Foothills Park (also known-. as Palo Alto Foothills Park) on the list of lands used ·or intended ·to be used for park purposes: and WHEREAS, the Council proposes to improve the park fire protection storage facility pursuant to a plan prepared therefor: NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does ORDAIN as follows: SEt~ION l. The pl~~ filed herewith entitled ·•FOOTHILLS PARK STORAGE BUILDING FOR THE CITY OF PALO ALTO, CALIFORNIA" , dated october 25, 1974, and consisting of four (4) pages, is incorporated herein by reference and hereby is approved and adopted. SECTION 2. The Council finds that none of the ·provisions of this ordinance will have a significant environmental impact. :. . • • SECTION 3, This ordinance shall become effective upon the commencement of the thirty-first day after the day of its passage.
