ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
ADDING SECTION 10~32~050 TO THE PALO.ALTO MUNICIPAL,
CODE TO PROHIBIT PEDESTRIAN AND.OTHER USES OF THE
.FOOTHILL EXPRESSWAY
The Council of the .City. of Palo Alto does ORDAIN as fol-
lows:
SECTION 1~ Section .10.32.050. is .hereby added to the Palo
Alto Municipal Code .to· read:

their duties or authorized maintenance or

Road and the.· southerly city l.i.mi ts·· at· Adobe
·Creek.

subsection ·(a). ,hereinabove, the. driver and
passengers o,f a disabled vehicle :stopp~d on
Foothill Exp~essway at any .location between
· Page· Hi 11 Road and the . southerly, .city limits·
at Adobe Creek may· walk .. to the nearest· .exit·~
in either direction,. on that side of· the express
way upon which the vehicle is disabled,-from
which telephone . or auto repair .-.services are
available."
SECTION 2. · · The .. Council finds. that none of the provisions.
of this ordinance· will· have a significant env-!_ronmental impact.
