ORDINANCE No. 2797
ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING THE RUDGgT FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1973-74 TO
APPROPRIATE AN ADDITIONAL $40,000 FOR THE
"AUA.A STREET IMPROVEMENTS 11 PROJECT
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 12 of
Article III of the Ch~rter of the City of Palo Alto, the
Council of the City of Palo Alto did on June 18, 1973~ adopt
a budget for fiscal year 1973-74; and
l~EREAS, $240,000 has been appropriated in the Street
Improvement Fund for the "Alma Street.Improvements" project,
identified as Project 72-54; and
WHEREAS, due to construction cost increases the over-
all cost of the project is expected to be $40,000 higher
than is currently appropriated for the project;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto
does ordain as follows:
SECTION !,. The amount of $40,000 be additionally
appropriated in the Street Improvements Fund for Project
72-54 and that the unappropriated balance of the Street Im-
provement Fund be correspondingly decreased.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall become effective
immediately as provided in Section 12 of Article III of the

Charter and Section 2.04.375 of the Palo Alto Municipal Code.
