ORDINANCE NO. 2795
ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
APPROVING AND ADOPTING A PLAN FOR TI{E IMPROVEMENT
OF RESTROOM FACILITIES IN THE OAK GROVE AREA OF
FOOTHILLS PARK (AKA PALO ALTO FOOTHILLS PARK)
WHEREAS, Article VIII of the Charter of the City of Palo
Alto and Section 22.08.005 of the Palo Alto Municipal Code
require that before any substantial building, construction,
reconstruction or development is commenced or approved upon or
with respect to any land held by the City for park purposes the
Council shall first cause to be prepared and by ordinance
approve and adopt a plan therefor; and
WHEREASP the City Council did by Ordinance No. 2252, adopted
September 23, 1965, place Foothills Park (aka Palo Alto Foothills
Park) on the list of lands used or intended to be used for park
purposes; and
WHEREASP the Council proposes to improve the restroom faci
lities in the Oak Grove area in Foothills Park (aka Palo Alto
Foothills Park) pursuant to a plan prepared therefor;
• NOW, THEREFORE: the Council of the City of Palo Alto does
ORDAIN as follows:
SECTION l. That the plan attached hereto) marked EXHIBIT
A identified as "Foothills Park Oak Grove Restroom," be and the
same is her~by approved and adopted.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall become effective upon
the expiration of thirty days from its passage.
