ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1973-1974
TO APPROPRIATE $15,000 FOR "THE EL CAMINO REAL
TRAFFIC SIGNAL IMPROVEMENTS" PROJECT
ORIGINAL
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 12 of Article
Ill of the Charter of the City of Palo Alto, the Council of the
City of Palo Alto did on .'fnne 18, 1973, adopt a budget for the
fiscal year 1973-1974; which included an appropriation in the
amount of $130,000 in the Street Improvement Fund for the 11 El
Camino·Real Traffic Signal Improvements" project, said. project
being identified as Project 72-62; and
WHEREAS, the staff received bids for Project 72-62 on June
20, 1973: and
WHEREAS, the overall cost for providing the improvements
will be $15,000 more ~han is currently appropriated for the projectJ
NOW, THEREFORE,the Council of the City of Palo Alto does
OKDAIN as follows:
SECTION 1. The amount of $15,000 is additionally appropriated
in the Street Improvement Fund ~or completion of Project 72-62 and
that the unappropriated balance be correspondingly reduced.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall become effective immediately
as provided in Section 12 of Article III of the Charter and Sec
tion 2.04.375 of the Palo Alto Municipal Code.
