ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO '
AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 1973-1974 TO
CHANGE THE CLASSIFICATION OF SEVEN AUTHORIZED
POSI'l'IONS
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 12 of Article
III of the Charter of the City of Palo Alto, the council did on
June 18, 1973, adopt a budget for fiscal year l973-l974J and
WHEREAS, the Council wishes to change the classifications of
seven positions approved in the adopted Budget 1973-1974 as a
result of a classification re-evaluation conducted during the
Meet and Confer process wherein such reclassifications were
recommended as a part of a Memorandum of AgreementJ
NOW, 'l'HEREFORE, the Council of the .city of Palo Alto does
ORDAIN as follows: ~-·
SECTION 1. The following positions approved in the budget
for f1scal year 1973-1974 be reclassified:

SECTION 2. This ordinance shall become effective immediately
as prov1ded J.n Section 12 of Article III of the Charter and
Section 2.04.375 of·the Palo Alto Municipal Code.
