ORDINk~CE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
DELETING SECTION 4. 14 .160 AND AMENDING REC'l'ION
5. 08.290 OF 'rHE PJI.LO ALTO HUNICIPAL CODE
The Council of the City of Palo Alto does ORDAIN as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 4.14.160 (Indecent Motion Pictures) of
the Palo Alto Municipal Code is hereby deleted.
SECTION 2. Section 5.08.290 of the Palo Alto Mnnicipal Code
is hereby amended. to read:
"5.08.290 Cleanliness of food handlers. All oersons
employed in restaurants, bakeries or rood establish-
ments or engaged in the preparation, handling, distribution
or sale of any food or beverage within t:he city shall be
clean in person, shall wear clean 1 washable garments and
keep their hands clean at all times tqhile engaged in handling
food, drink, utensils or equipment, ru1d shall not expectorate
or use tobacco in any form while so engaged. Employees of
restaurants shall wear hairnets, caps, headbands, or other
suitable covering which confines the hair, as required by
the Health and Safety Code of California."
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall become effective upon the
expiration of thirty days from its passage.
