ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING SECTION 18.08.030 OF THE PALO ALTO MUNICIPAL
CODE TO ESTABLISH A ZONE FOR CERTAIN PROPERTY
GENERALLY KNOWN AS THE INTERNATIONAL TELEPHONE AND
TELEGRAPH CORPORATION PROPERTY IN THE VICINITY OF TIIE
2600 BLOCK OF EAST BAYSHORE ROAD AND TO ESTABLISH A FIRE
ZONE THEREFOR, BOTH EFFECTIVE UPON ANNEXATION OF SAID
PROPERTY TO THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
The Council of the City of Palo Alto does ORDAIN as follows:
SECTION I. Section 18.08.030 of the Palo Alto Municipal Code, the "Zoning Map,0
is hereby amended to establish zoning as A-C~D for certain property generally known
as the International Telephone and Teiegraph Corporation property in the vicinity of the
2600 block of East Bayshore Road. Said property is shown on a map attached hereto
and incorporated herein by reference.
SECTION 2. The Official Fire Zone Map of the City of Palo Alto {Section 16.04.180
of the Palo Alto Municipal Code) is hereby amended by establishing Fire Zone No. 3
for all of the territory included herein, and the Building Official is hereby authorized
and directed to make ·said changt" '-'" the map on file in this office upon the effective
date of this ordinance.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall become effective upon the expiration of thirty
days from its passage, or the annexation of the territory included herein to the City of
Palo Alto, whichever shall last occur.
