ORDINANCE NO. 2700 -----
OROINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE ClTY OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING SECTION 18.08.040 OF THE PALO ALTO MUNICIPAL
CODE TO EST AB LISH A ZONE FOR CERTAIN PROPERTlES LOCATED
ON MONROE DRIVE AND A FIRE ZONE THEREFOR, BOTH
EFFECTIVE UPON ANNEXATION OF SAID PROPERTY TO THE CITY
OF PALO ALTO
The Council of the City of Palo Alto does ORDAIN as follows:
~N 1. Section 18.08.040 of \he Palo Alto Municipal Code, the "Zoning Map,"
is hereby amended to establish mning as R-J:B-10 for twelve parcels of property generaUy
known and descrjbed as 170, 174, 180, 316, 320, 330, 340, 350, 356, 360, 364, and
370 Monroe Drive, to be eff et.."tive upo·n annexation of the properties to the City of Palo
Alto. Said properties are shown on a map attached hereto and incorporated herein by
reference.
SECTION 2. The Official Fire Zone ?\lap of the City of P~:.,o Alto (Section 16.04.180
of the Palo Alto Municipal Code) is hereby amended by establishing Fire Zone No. 3.
for all of the territory induded herein, and the Building Official is hereby authorized
and directed to make said change on the map on fiJe in his c:ffice upon the effective
date of this ordinance.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall become effective upon the expiration of thirty
days from its passage, or the annexation of all of said properties included herein to the
City of Palo Alto, whichever :!iball last occur.
