ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1972-173
TO PROVIDE FOR RECYCLING CENTER SERVICE AND OPERATION

WHEREAS, pursuant to the provision of Section 12 of Article

III of the Charter of the City of Palo Alto, the Council did on
June 26, 1972, adopt a budget for the fiseal year 1972-19731 ahd
WHEREAS, the Council wishes to transfer funds from the
Unappropriated Balance of the Capital Improvement Fund to the
Refuse Fund;

NOW, THEREFORE, the Council Of the City of Palo Alto does
·ORDAIN as follows:
SECTION 1. That the sum of Thirty thousand dollars
($3,0 ,Ooo ~ 00) be transferred from .the Unappropriated aalance of
the Oapital Improvement Fund ·to t:~1e Refuse :Fund and that ths
appropz::·iation for pay:r:ants to. the Palo Alto .sa.rtitation company
in· the Refus'e ·Fund be increased by Thirty···thousand dollars. · .··
($30,000.00).
SECTION 2. This.ordinance.shall become effective imme.diately
as provided in Section 12 -of .. Article . III ·of the . Charter and
section 2.04.375 of the P'alo Alto Munici~al ·code.
