The first paragraph of ·section 2.08.220 of the , Palo Alto Municipal Code is amended to read:· n2.os.220 Animal services-divi~ion.-The animal services division shall be under the cfa.redtion of a superintendent 6£ ani~al services who shall be accountable to the chief of police. 'rhe following words and phrases whenever used in this chapter are defined as follows: - (a) 11 0e.ngerous animal" shall mean any dog or other animal which demonstrates a propensity to assault, bite, scratch or harass people or ot~er animals without provocation.
