ORDINANCE NO. 2668
ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR. THE FISCAI, YEAR 1972..:.1973
TO CHANGE THE CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN POSITIONS
1N THE RECREATION OEPARTMENT
WHEREAS; pursuant to the provisions of Section 12 of Article
III of the Charter cf the City of Palo Alto, the Council did on
June· 26, 1972, adopt a budget.for the fiscal year 1972-1973~ and
WHEREAS, the Council wishes to change the classification of
seven (7) positions in the Recreation Department as a result of
a classification reevaluation conducted during the Meet and Confer
Process wherein such recl:9.ssificationswere recommendetl as part
of a memorandum of .;..tnders tandihg 1

NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does
ORDAIN as follow~.: ' -·
SECTION 1. The 1972-1973 Budget, Recreation Department table
or organization is changed to eliminate one position of Coordinator,
Recreation Programs, two Supervisor, Aquatics an-d Athletic;s, two
Sup~rvisor, Parks and Playgrounds ~d two Superv:i.so:r, Recreation .··, ..
·.Programs. seven positions of suJ'l:O::\·i.sor, General' Recreation are
added :to tpetable or orgartization.
SECTION 2. This ot(.linan.~e shall become effective. inunediately _,
