ORDINANCE NO. 2660
ORDINANCE OF-THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
AUTHORIZING CLOSING OF THE 1971-1972 BUDGET AND
ESTABLISHING OF RESERVES
The Council of the C,i·ty of Palo Al to does ORDAIN as fol-_
SECTION 1. The City Controller is hereby authorized and
directed to:
(a) --Close the 1971-1972 budget accounts in all funds and
to make such "inter~fund transfers of monies as required
by city charter and ordinance, the foregoiLJg ·.transactions
to be reflected in the Annual Financial· Report for __
1971-1972.
(b} --· To establish in the Reserve for Encumbrances ·of the
various funds-amounts sufficient to provide for_payment
of 1971-1972 purchase-orders and contracts which are'
outstanding· as of June 30, 1972.

(c) · To establish-the :fol.lowing reserves for the purposes
indicated:
