ORDINANCE NO. 264 8 'ORIGINAL
ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1971-1972

TO MAKE AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION IN THE CAPITA!,
IMPROVEMENT FUND FOR ACQUISITION OF THE "SQUIRE , -
HOUSE" AND PROPERTY
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 12 of
Article III of the Charter of the City of Palo Alto 1 the council
did on June 21, 1~71, adopt a budget for fiscal year 1971-1972; and
WHER.E;AS, the Council vdshes" to make an additional appropriation
in excess of the sums appropriated by said budget-for the-capital
Improvement Fund for acquisitiOf! of the "Squire House 11 and property
located at 900 University Avenue; -·
--NOW, 'l'HEREFORE, the Council of thE:: City of Palo _Alto does·;
ORDAIN as follows:
SECTION L The 1971-1972 Capital Improvement Fund app:topria-
tions are hereby increased in _the_ amount of Sixty-five 'l'housand,
One-Hundred Dollars {$65,100.00) and the_unappropriated_balance
is _correspondingly decreased.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall become effective immediately
as provided irt: t:ection 12 of Article III of the Charter·'and
