ORDINANCE· OF THE COUNCI~ OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING THE BUDGET FO~ THE .FISCAI\ YEAR 1971-1972
TO MAKE A TRANSFER WITHIN THE CITY ATTORNEY DEPART
MENT BUDGET IN ORDER TO IMPLEME:NT AN ADDITIONAL
· CITY AT'l10RNEY POSITION
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provis'ions of Section 12 __ of
Article III of the ·cnarter of .the City.of Palo Alto,· the .Council
by Ordinance No. 2608 did on '.Jiine 2i, 1971, adopt a budget for
the fiscal year l971-1972i and
WHEREAS, the council wishes to· make a transfer of appro
pri~tion.s ·within the Office of the City Att6rne)1 to provide for
the employment of an Assistant City.Attorney;
NOW, THEREFORE, :the Council of the City of Palo Alto does
ORDAIN as follows~
