ORDINANCE NO. 2633
ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF. PALO ALTO
-AMENDING SECTION 2404.200 OF THE PALO ALTO MUNICIPAL
CODE TO PROVIDE FOR "SENSE" MINUTE~ OF THE PROCEEDINGS
OF THE CI~Y COUNCIL
The Council of the City of Palo Alto does ORDAIN as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 2.04.200 of the Palo Alto Municipal-Code
_ is hereby amended to read:
"2.04.200.-Preparation of minutes.(a) Method of
keeping minutes. Themiqutes of the council shall
be kept by the city clerk and sqall be neatly type-
written in a book kept; for that purpose, with a
record of each particular_ type of business transacted
se~ off ·in paragraphs, with proper subheads. Th.;;;
city-clerk shall make a record together with sense
minutes ~s provided-hereafter, of such business as
· was actually ·passed upon by a vote of the council,
but ni.)t a verbatim transcript of the procec::lings ~
A rec_ord sha~l be made only Oi: the names, and ·ad
dresses ·of pel'Sofis addressing .the coitn.cil, the ,title
of the subjact matter-to, which their remarks related
and whethe:r.: they spoke in support of or in opposition
