AMENDING CHAPTER 16004 (BUILDING CODE) OF THE PALO

ALTO.MUNICIPAL CODE TO ADOPT THE 1970 EDITIONS OF THE
UNIFORM :BUI:LDING CODE (VOLUME I, UNIFORM BUILDING

WHEREAS, on April 20, 1970 by Resolution Noo 4345 the Council
of the City of Palo Alto stated its support of the goal of· uniformity.·

WHEREAS, Section 7 oe Chapter 1436, Statut~s of 1970 contains
a .. decl~ration by the Legislature that the ~niformity •construction·
codes throughout· the·f?tate o:f california is a matter of statewide
