ORDINANCE NO. 2641
ORDINANCE pF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING-CHAPTER 2.12 OF THE PALO ALTO MUNICIPAL
CODE TO-PROVIDE FOR AN :EMERGENCY SERVICES ORGANI-
ZATION AND ESTABLISHING ITS DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS
The Council of the City of Palo Alto does ORDAIN as fol-
lows:
SECTION 1. Chapter :2.12 of the Palo Alto Municipal Code
is hereby amended to< read-as set forth _in EXHIBIT.A attached
her~to and by reference.made a part_hereof.
SECTION_ 2. 'l'his ordinance shall becomt:! effective upon
the_ expiration of t.hirt.y days from its passage~

Services, or the existence of a "state of war emergency", the
director is hereby empowered to:
(1) Make and issue rules a:nd regulations on matters
reasonably related"to the protection of life and property as

Punishment of violations. It shall be a misde-
meanor, punishable by a fine of not to exceed' five hUndred dollars
($500) , or by ·lihprisonment for not to exceed six months, or both,
