ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF 'l'HE .CI'l'Y OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING CHAPTER 22.04 OF THE PALO'ALTO MUNICIPAL
CODE TO PERMIT AMPLIFIED SOUND IN EL CAMINO PARK
ANO THE BAYLANOS ATHLETIC CENTER-ANO MAKING OTHER
CHANGES

"22.04.060 Contents of park ~~plication.

SECTION 4. Section 22.04.180 Of the Palo Alto Municipal
Code is amended to read as follows:
"22.04.180 Atn!lified sound exceeding 25 watts.
Amplified soun exceeding 25 :watts total output from all
channels of equiptnent used therefor is prohibited except
in El Camino Park and Baylands Athleti~ Center between
A~ril 1st and October 31st next following, subject to
each of the following conditions: ·
· (i\) An exclusive 1,1Se permit must be first obtained
pursuant to this chapter. No more than three such p'!rmits
shall be issued for each.facility in any calendar year,
nor for any event exceeding five-consecutive hours in
d~~ation. -·
(b) Fer each five pe_rsons exper.te4 at ttie event: ,
authorized under this section, the applicant must pr'ovide
at least one vehicular.pe.rl(inry space within· a radl:.is of
one mile' f:?om the exterior h-Jundary of the facility to
b~ used for such ev~nt. ~eneve~. _private property is
