ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE ciTY o~ PALO ALTO
APP~OVING AND ADOPTING A PLAN FOR THE DEVRLOPMENT
OF A PORrION OF RlNCONADA PARK
WHEREASf Article Vlll of the Charter orovides that no sub-
stantlal building, construction, reconstruction or development
upon.er ~1th res~~ct to ahy lands dedicated for park, playground,
0 recreation or conservation purposes shall be ;nade except pursuant
to a plan approved by ordinance subject to referendum; and
WHEREAS, the Council has placed Rinconada Paik, ~ith additions
thereto, on fhe li~t of lands used 6r intended to be used for
park purposes; and
WHEREAS, the Council proposes to proceed with development
of a·poition of Rinconada Park including said addition to the oark,
pursuant to a ,1an prepared therefor.
·NOW, THEREFOREf the Council of the City of Palo Alto does
ORDAIN as foLlows~
SECTION 1. The Plan atLa~hed hereto, marked EXHIBIT A, and
identified as "Rinconada Par~ ImI?rovement" i is, hereby aporoved
and adopted ,
SECTION 2, This ordinance shall become effective upon the
expiration of thirty days from it:s passage.
