CODE CHANGING THE ZONIN'G OF CERTAIN PROPERTY KNOWN AS
535 SAN ANTONIO AVENUE FROM R-l:B~8:A to P-C
The Council of the City of Palo Alto does ORDAIN as fol-
lows:
SECTION 1. Section 18.08.040 of the Palo Alto Municipal
Code (the Zoning Map) is hereby amended to change the zoning
of certain property known as 535 San Antonio Avenue from
R-l:B-8:A to P-C,
SEC'rION 2. Said property is shmm on a map attached hareto,
marked EXHIBtT A and incorporated herein by reference and en-
titled "Change from R-l:B-8:A to P-C 535 San Antonio Avenue."
SECTION 3. The diagram attached hereto entitled 11 Housing
for the Elderly 11 is incorporated herein by reference, made a
part hereof and is hereby made the Development Plan for the
parcel described in Section 1 heceof.
·SECTION 4. Said. Development Plan is, approved pursuant to ..
Section 18.68.070 of the Palo Alto Municipal Code subject to
the following conditions:
1. Structures, landscaping, off-street parking
(stall~ t~ be a mini~um of 9' x 20') and all other
improvements shall be substantially as shown on the
Development Plan.
2. The existing use p~fmit ~pplying to the
church shall be replaced by a new use permit in
accordance with Chapter 18.90-0f the Palo Alto
Municipal Code.
3. Execute a de0laiatiori of restrictions and
covena~ts covering the access driveway settfng aside

an eighteen (18) foot driveway easement to provide
access to the housing development in perpetuity on
a form as prescribed by the City At-Corney.
4. The Development Schedule shall be as
follows:
(a) Start construction on or before
July 1, 1971.
(b) Completion of all construction and
development within eighteen (18)
months of start of construction.
5. Applicant shall build artd develop acriording
to·the Fire and Building Codes in force on the date
each building permit is issued, any design feature
of the Development Plan approved hereby to the contrary
notwithstanding.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall become effective upon the
expiration of thirty days from its passageo
