ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1970-1971
ADJUSTING THE APPROPRIATIONS IN THE CAPITAL
IMPROVEMENT FUND
WHEREAS, pt\rsuant to th~~ provisions of Section 12 of Atticle
III of the Charter of the City of Palo Alto, the Council did ·on

June 22, 1970, adopt a budget for the fiscal year 1970-1971; ~nd
WHEREAS, the Council wishes to make.an additional appropria
tion in excess: of the sums appropriated by said budget in the
Capital Improvement Fund for Project6~-95~
NOW, THEREFORE, the council of 'the City of Palo Alto does
ORDAIN aa follcws:
SECTION 1. That the 1970-1971 appropriation in th0 Capital
Improve&-nent Fund for Projeot 69-95 be increased.from $500,000.to
$,6_05, 000, in the amount of $105, o·oo to provide for the acquisition
t'.lf the Lytton School site and that the unappropriated' reserve of
'the Capital Improvement Fund be reduced $105,000.
-SECTION 2. This ordinance shall become 'effective immediately
as proyided in Sectic:ln.-12 of Artitne III of the Charter and Sec~
., tioJt· 2. 04.'J75 of the Pa,lo Alto Municipal Code.
