ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
MA.ENDING THE BUDGET FOR THE. FISCAL YEAR 1969-1970
TO MAKE AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION TO THE CAPITAL
IMPROVEMENT FUND
l-i'HEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 12 of Articie III of the
Charter of the City of ~alo Alto, the Council did ori June 23, 1969 adopt a
bud9et for the fiscal year 1969-1970; and
KHEREAS, the Council wishes to make an additional appropriation_in
excess of-the sums appropriated by said bqdget in the Capital Improvement
Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does ORDAIN as
follows:
SECTION 1. That the 1969-1970 appropriation in the Capital Improyement
Fund be increQsed from $ 9, 352, 987 to $ 9, 852, 987 , in the amoJnt of
500,000 to provide for acquisition of the Lytton School property
and that the unappropriated balance of the Capital Improvement Fund be
correspondingly decreased from $2,930,345 to$ 2,430,345
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall become effective immediately as pro
vided in Section 12 of Arfidle III bf the Chatter artd S•ction 2.04.375 6f
the Palo Alto Municipaf Code.
