COunc·ll of· the City. of Palo Alt() Amending Se<:tion 3.02 of
Ord.ina:o.ee,_No. 1324, the Zoning Ordinance~ Changing the
Zoning of· Certain ,Property ~OW!:l as 308 and 318 Middlefield
Road,_ 654 and 666 Everett A,;enu~e and 305 Byron Street from
R~.3,: L-12 to P-C. " was a.do>ted by the Council of the City of
Palo Alto on Ma:rch 8, 1965; and
WHEREAS, on April 7, 1'~65 (x petition was filed wit:h the
City Clerk aski.ng that said ordi.nance be submi:tte:d to a vote
of tbe electors; and
WHEREAS, the Registrar of Voters of the County of Santa
Clara on April 9~ 1965 cert: .. fied that said petition was signed
by qualified and registered electors equal in mn:nber to ten
per centum of: the entire VOLe C.S~St at the last preceding gene:r·al
municipal election, said voLe bt::ing 13) 9 36; and
WHEREAS, said Council leas reconsidered said ordinance as

required under the :p·rovisiox:s of Section 3 of Ar.ticle VI of the
Charter of the City of Palo Alto and desires to repeal said
ordinance •
NOW, THEREFORE, the Cot:ncil of the City of Palo Alto doE:s
ordain as follO'!.rs:
SECTION l. Ordinance 2227 entitled, "Ordinance of the Council
of the City of Palo Alto A.roendin;g Section 3.02 of Ordinance No. 1324,
the Zoning Ordinance 1 Changi:1g the Zcning of Certain Property
Xnowri as 308 and 318 Niddlefield Road, 654 and 666 Everett Avenue
and 305 Byron Street from R-J:L-12 to P-C" is hereby repealed in
its entirety.

provisions of Section 3 of Article VL o£ the Charte·r of

the question of the approval or rejection of said ordinance
