is hereby .E1mended to read as fol: .ows:
"SEC. 2. 15 7 VOTE RJEtl!HB!± ~
No ordinance or r~olui:ion shall be intr·o>duced or
passed, no appointment made, no offic.er :remov•e:d, and
no contract.shall be awarded without the affirmative
vote c>f a majority of the mnmbers of the Council. The
elect ton of•. Mayor and Vice Hayor shall b.a by a vote of
a majclrity of the members o:: the Council. All other
actiot1 of the City Council, unless subje•:t to other
statutory or constitutional requirements, shall be deemed
p-assed uriort receiving. a majority vote of all councilmen
preser~t. 1
