AMENDING SECTION 31'.. 24 OF TRE PALO ALTO MUNICIPAL

OF THE SANITARY REFUSE DISPOSAl. AREA

.§ECTION' 1. Ihat Section 31..24 of the Palo Alto Municipal
Code is amended to read as follows:
" S,EC. 3L 24 SCHEDULE OF FEES . FOR THE USE OF THE SANITARY

(a) The following schedule'of fees shall

shall. beallowed toll-exempt use of the refuse disposal
area.

(e.) Notwithstanding any of the provisior.s o-f this section -che
City Manager ma.:r enter into contracts for dumping at the
dlsposal area f•>r a term not exceeding one year at such
rates as he may deem reasO"ruAb.le and to the best interests
of the City.
(f) !"ne City Manager may prescribe rule.:: and regulations not
inconsistent -w"ith this art:icle gover-1.ing the use and
-operation of the disposal area .
. ~CTION b This ·ordinance shall become effective upon the
expir.ation of thirty days from its pa:zsage.
