ORDlNA.NCE OF THE COUHCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING SECTION 19. 9 3 OF CH.t..Pl'ER 19 OF THE PALO
ALTO MUNICIPAL CODE PERTAINING ro USE OF S'l'REETS
FOR STORAGE OF VEHICLES
The Council of the C:Lty of Palo Alto does ORDAIN as
follow:s:
SECTION 1. Section 1S,.93 of Chapter 19 of t::he Palo Alto
Municipal Code is here'by amc::a.ded to read as follows:
"SEC. 19.93 USE OF StREETS FOR STORAGE OF VEHICLES
W6RDITm-. ---·-·
a. No person who owns or has possession) custody
or control of any vehic:le shall park such vehi.cle upon any
street o:.r alley for mm::e than a consecutive period of 72
hours.
b. "(n :.:he event a vehicle is parked or left
standing upon a street in excess of a consecutive period
of 72 hours, any member of the Police Department author
ized by the Chief: of Police may remove said vehicle from
the s~reet in the: n'ianner and subject to the requirements
of the Vehicle Cctde."
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon the
~xpiration of thirty days from its passage.
