ORDINA.~CE OF THE COUNCIL OF T:~ CITY OF PALO ALTO
AMI~lNG ORDINANCE NO. 1J24, THE ZONING ORDINANCE
BY AMENDING SECTI!)N 11.14 TIIEREOF
The Council of the City of :'ale Alto does ORDAIN as
follows:
SECTION 1. Section 11.14 o: Ordinance No. 1324 is am..~nded
to J:"ead as follo~.Ns:
"Building Heigh.t:~ymit:
(a) !eight stories, but not to exceed 85 feet, and pro
vided thou . .all s:tdes of buildings except the front

zontally to two (2) feet vertically, such planes

a ratio of: one (1) foot horizontally to three (3)
feet vertically, scch planes beginning directly
above property lines at: an elevation o£ thirty
five (35) feet above average ground grade, pro
vided that under this provision the bulk of the
building shall ~e limited as follows:
'rhe gross floor area above ground of any
structure shall n.ot exceed eight (8) times
the area of the lot exclusive of floor area
designed for and devoted exclusively to off
street parking."
