The Council o.E :~he City of Palo Alto does ORDAIN as follows:

(Uniform PlumbJ..ng Co·ie) of Chapte:r 34 (Bl.lildi.ng Regulations) of the
Palo Alto Municipal r:ode. is amend,ed to read as follows:
"30 Subsc::c! ions (e) and (f) CJ\re added to Section
1004 to z·eo~~d:
(e) Materj als for non~potable wate~r sys't.ems shall
conf•:)nn to paragraph (a) and in addition· plastic
piping matE rials shall be pe:1mitted provided they
con:fctrm. to the standa:rdB set: forth in Table A,
Chapter 2 cf this code and as approved by the
Administrative Authority.
(f) Water pipe and fi.t1:in.gs for radiant heating
systelllS si1all be of Typte L -copper tube. Copper
fittings ;;hill be of th~~ same material as the
