TERRITORY, DESIGNA11~I: "STAJ~ORD ANNEXATION NO. 12"
The Council of th1e City of Palo Alto doE~~ ORDAIN as fcdlows:
WHEREAS, on the 9th day pf ApriJL, 1962, the Couiu:.:~.l o~: the
City of Palo Alto did ]pass ar..d adopt ResolLutlon No. 3486 g:lving
notice of the proposal to a1rr1ex cct~taln uuinhabited teJ~ri·t:<>ry to
the City of Palo Alto, said territc,ry being therein designated
as 11 Stanford Annexatior1 No. 12" sai.d Resoluti.on descritling the
boundaries of the territory to be aru1exed; and
WHEREAS., said Res<,lutiC'Il 3486 d:ld corlttain a noticE of the
day, hour and plc~ce wh~m and where the Cot1ncil of the City c,f Palo
Alto would hear protests. made by Pny person owning real prc,perty
within the territory propose·d to be annexed, the time of sajd
hearing being not less than forty n•or more than sixty days from
the date of said Resolution; and
WHEREAS, said notice being published in the PALO ALTO TIMES
on April 26, 1962 and ~fay 3, 1962. The City Clerk having given
notice of the proposed annexation as directed in said Resolution
No. 3486.
WHEREAS, on the 2S:th day of May, 1962, at the hour of. 7:30p.m.
in the Council Chambers; in th~ City Hall of the City of Palo Alto,
Cout:lty. of Santa Clara, State •.>f Callfomia, said time and place
bei111g the day, hour andl place fixed in said RJ~solution 3486 for
hea·ring protests to the: said annexation, the said City .Council
did heaz· and pass upon all protests ·made to the proposed annexa
tion: .and did determifle that pl·otests had not been made by the
owners of one-half of the value of t:he privately owned territory
