AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PM.J) ALTO
·APPROVING mE ANNEXATION OF CERT~1ti
UNINHABITED tERRITORY, DESIGNATED AS
" EL CAMINO ANNEXAI'ION NO.! 4u TO T.fiE

, lbe Council of the Ci.ty of Palo Alto does ORDAIN as follows:.:
.WHEREAS, on the 23rd day of January 1961, the Council of
the City of Palo Alro did pass and adopt Resolution No. 3339
giving notice of the propos~l to annex certain uilinhabited terri
t.o:r·y to the City of Palo Alto said territory being therein
designated as "El Cami.no Annexation No,. 4", said Re-solution
describing the boundaries of the territory proposedt eo be annexed;
and
WHEREAS, sai.d Res:olution. No. 3339 did contain a notice of
the day, hour and place when and where the· Council of the City
would hear protests made by any person owning real property
'w:f..thtn the territory proposed t:> be annexed, the ttme of said
hearing being not less than forty nor more than su:ty days
from the date of passage of said Resolution; and
·WHEREAS, on the 13th day of March~ 1961. at the hour of
7:30 p~m. in the Council r.hambers in the City Hall of the City
-·<of Palo Alto, County of Santa Clara, State of California, said
time and place being the day' hour and place fixed in said
Resolution No. 3339 for hearing protests to the said annexation,
the said City Council did hear and pass upon all protests made
to the propos·ed a.nnex.ltion and did determine that protests had
not be~n made by the owners o~f one-half of the value of the
privately owed territory proposed to be annexed a1:1 shown by the
last equalized .asses8ment roll, nor by public ownei::s of one
half uf .the.value,of the publicly owned territory proposed to
be annexed as determined by said legislative body; and
